Awards and Recognition:
Jon and Suanne Roueche Excellence Award (2019). In recognition of the long tradition of excellence in community college teaching and leadership, the League of Innovation established the John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Awards in 2012. This award is a celebration of my outstanding contribution and leadership to CPCC's CRITICAL CORE Initiative.
Innovation of the Year (2015). Each year, the League for Innovation sponsors the Innovation of the Year to recognize best practices among the League colleges. CPCC’s Employee Recognition Committee selected my program - The Professional Development Instructional Design Internship Program - as the winner, and the CPCC Foundation contributed $1,000 to support my former area of Employee Online Learning.
Eyes on You (2014 and 2017). "Eyes on You" is an esteemed CPCC recognition program that identifies employees who expand and enhance learning and who demonstrate that their efforts make a difference.
