CORE4 Video Syllabus Project (2013)

Picture
In support of the Learning College initiative, four core competencies have been identified as critical to the success of every CPCC graduate: Communication, Critical Thinking, Personal Growth and Responsibility, and Information Technology & Quantitative Literacy.
The competencies were developed in response to requests from area employers, survey results from College faculty and staff, best practices of other learning colleges, results from the 21st Century Learning Outcomes Project, the CPCC general education goals, and current research on teaching and learning. The following video was developed for the students of CPCC to provide them with a brief overview of the Core4.

"Shantell’s passion for this project was evident in her tireless approach and the end result is a reflection of her talent.  The work Shantell has done highlights the importance of the Core4 to our students’ lifelong personal and professional goals.  Her work brings a fresh, new perspective and one that resonates with students college-wide."
